Reactivate Duo App (New Phone)
This article applies when you changed phones and need to reactivate Duo on the new phone.
This article assumes:
- you have used DUO Mobile before
- you did not change phone number
Before you begin: Install the Duo Mobile app on your phone, download the app from the App Store (Link) or Google Play (Link). Or search your respective App Store for "Duo Mobile"

Complete the steps below on your mobile device or a desktop web browser (recommended) of your choice:
1. Visit any UCLA Logon prompt (example https://accounts.iam.ucla.edu/mfa)
2. Log into the application using your UCLA Logon ID and password.

3. At the Duo Push prompt, click “Need Help?”

4. Select “I got a new phone”

5. Activate Duo by sending a text message to your number or click “I got a new number”

6. Open the link from your text messages and tap “Open” if prompted to open in Duo Mobile

7. Duo Mobile Push is now activated on your device
